Keydown Event listener

by Sohel sagir shaikh

HTML CSS JS
This project is a modern and user-friendly “Get in Touch” contact form developed using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The application allows users to enter essential information such as their full name and email address through a clean and responsive interface. HTML5 form validation is implemented using attributes such as required and type="email" to ensure that users provide valid information.

The interface uses CSS Flexbox for proper alignment and positioning, along with a card-based design, rounded corners, shadows, customized input fields, focus effects, hover effects, and an attractive background image to provide a professional user experience. The submit button also includes interactive visual effects for better usability.

JavaScript is used to implement keyboard event handling with the keydown event listener. The application detects specific keyboard shortcuts such as Ctrl + R and Ctrl + Shift + I and demonstrates how their default browser behavior can be intercepted using preventDefault(). The keyboard event object is also displayed in the browser console for testing and learning purposes.

Overall, this project demonstrates practical knowledge of HTML5, CSS, responsive UI design, form validation, JavaScript event handling, and interactive web development.
