Typing accuracy checker by Madhushree Rasal

The Typing Accuracy Checker is an interactive web application developed to help users evaluate their typing accuracy by comparing their entered text against a predefined passage. The project focuses on character by character comparison and provides visual feedback to help users identify typing mistakes.

The application displays a sample paragraph that users can reproduce in a text area. Once the user clicks the Check button, JavaScript compares each entered character with the corresponding character in the original passage. Correctly typed characters are highlighted in green, while incorrect characters are highlighted in red, making it easier to identify errors and improve typing precision.

The project was developed using HTML5 for structuring the webpage, CSS3 for styling and creating a responsive interface, and Vanilla JavaScript for handling user input, comparing strings and dynamically updating the displayed results through DOM manipulation.

Through this project, I gained practical experience in DOM manipulation, event handling, string comparison, character by character iteration, conditional statements, for loops and dynamic HTML generation using innerHTML.

This project helped strengthen my understanding of JavaScript logic and interactive webpage development while providing practical experience in processing user input and presenting results through dynamic visual feedback.
