The website features structured informational sections for each plant family, including botanical descriptions and image cards showcasing different plants. Its layout combines organized content sections with a fixed navigation bar, allowing users to move between sections of the webpage.
The project was developed using HTML5 and CSS3, with CSS Flexbox forming the foundation of its layout. Additional styling includes a botanical-inspired visual theme, background images, typography, styled buttons, and hover effects on cards and interactive-looking elements.
Through this project, I gained practical experience in creating Flexbox layouts, organizing content-heavy webpages, building navigation systems, designing reusable card-style components, and applying CSS hover effects, transitions, spacing, and background styling.
The primary focus was on understanding how Flexbox can be used to arrange webpage elements and create structured, visually organized interfaces while combining educational content with frontend design.
This is a static beginner-level frontend practice project. It does not currently include JavaScript functionality or advanced responsive layouts. Future improvements could include better mobile responsiveness, individual plant detail pages, animations, accessibility enhancements, and search and filtering features.
