Users can enter details such as personal information, career objectives, education, skills, work experience, projects, achievements, languages, interests and hobbies. The entered information is then used to generate a structured resume preview without requiring the page to be reloaded. The application also provides multiple built in themes, including Elegant, Sophisticated, Light and Minimalistic, allowing users to customize the visual appearance of their resume.
The project was developed using HTML5 for creating the form and application structure, CSS3 for layout and styling, and Vanilla JavaScript for event handling, form processing, DOM manipulation, dynamic content generation and theme customization.
Through this project, I gained practical experience in creating and organizing large HTML forms, handling user input, applying form validation, manipulating the DOM and dynamically updating webpage content using JavaScript. I also practiced designing reusable UI elements and implementing multiple visual themes within a single application.
The project is currently designed primarily for desktop screens and does not yet include PDF export, download functionality or persistent data storage. Future improvements could include responsive design, local storage, PDF generation, additional templates and enhanced customization options.
Overall, this project helped strengthen my frontend development skills by combining HTML, CSS and JavaScript to build a practical, interactive and customizable web application.
