The webpage features a flexible photo gallery, a fixed sidebar navigation, interactive photo cards, image filter effects, and a heart icon interaction. Various hover effects are applied to elements such as images, icons, borders, backgrounds, and text to create smooth visual transitions.
The project was developed using HTML5 and CSS3, with Flexbox for layout structuring, CSS transitions for animations, media queries for responsive design, and Remix Icons for interface icons.
Through this project, I gained practical experience in building responsive multi-column layouts, arranging elements using Flexbox, implementing CSS transitions, applying image brightness and saturation filters, creating hover interactions, and adapting navigation layouts for smaller screens.
The primary focus was on understanding how CSS transitions and hover effects can improve the visual experience of a webpage while maintaining a flexible and responsive layout.
This project includes responsive layouts for smaller screens, where the sidebar transforms into a horizontal navigation section. Future improvements could include JavaScript-based image filtering, a modal or lightbox for viewing images, improved accessibility, a dark and light theme toggle, and further tablet-specific layout refinements.
