Boat Website Clone

HTML5 CSS3 Remix Icons
The boAt Website Clone is a static recreation of the boAt Lifestyle website, developed as part of my frontend learning journey. The project focuses on recreating an ecommerce-style interface with product showcases, promotional banners, navigation menus, and multiple content sections.

The webpage features a fixed navigation bar with CSS hover-based dropdown and mega menu designs, product display sections, promotional banners, and a footer containing categorized links. Hover effects and styled UI elements help recreate the visual experience of an ecommerce website.

The project was developed using HTML5 and CSS3, with Remix Icon CDN for incorporating icons. Its layouts primarily use traditional CSS techniques, including floats and relative and absolute positioning.

Through this project, I gained practical experience in creating dropdown menus, positioning webpage elements, organizing large multi-section layouts, building reusable CSS classes, and designing ecommerce-style product sections.

The primary focus was on strengthening my HTML and CSS fundamentals and understanding how traditional layout techniques can be used to structure a complete webpage before moving on to modern layout systems such as Flexbox and CSS Grid.

This is a beginner-level frontend practice project. The website is currently static and non-responsive, with no backend functionality or working ecommerce features. Future improvements could include responsive layouts, replacing float-based positioning with Flexbox or Grid, improving accessibility, and adding animations and transitions.
