SpaceX Clone

by Kashish Jain

HTML and CSS
This SpaceX Clone is a web development project created using HTML and CSS to replicate the sleek, high-impact layout and immersive user experience of the official SpaceX website. The project focuses on structuring and styling a modern visual interface that showcases cutting-edge aerospace engineering, reusable rocket technology, human spaceflight missions, Starlink satellite internet, and Mars colonization visions.

HTML is used to build the foundational blueprint of the site, organizing key sections such as hero launch banners, vehicle specifications, mission overviews, live launch announcements, and footer links. CSS provides the custom visual layer—managing full-screen hero sections, dark thematic styling, high-contrast typography, precise flexbox alignments, smooth hover states, and structured card layouts—to deliver an engaging, futuristic browsing experience across screen sizes.

Key Development Highlights & Design Execution :
1. Immersive Dark UI & High Contrast: Engineered with a deep-black dark theme, high-contrast white typography, and full-screen background framing to reflect the deep-space brand identity of SpaceX.

2. Full-Bleed Responsive Hero Banners: Implemented flexible CSS height units (100vh, min-height) and background sizing rules (background-size: cover) to deliver high-impact landing sections that scale across different displays.

3. Structured Vehicle & Mission Grids: Uses CSS Flexbox and Grid modules to showcase rocket specifications and mission features cleanly with uniform margins, padding, and subtle hover animation .
