Interactive Photo Gallery

HTML and CSS
This Google Photos project stands as an immersive front-end web application engineered exclusively with HTML5 and CSS3. It faithfully mirrors the minimalist aesthetic, spatial harmony, and media-centric layout of modern digital gallery environments. Designed to elevate how personal memories are presented online, the platform synthesizes fluid content grids, intuitive sidebar navigation, visual category filters, and interactive media overlays into a single cohesive, high-performance interface.

Google Photos Visual Architecture :
1. Top Search Header
Acts as the primary utility bar at the top of the interface. It houses the universal search bar for instant keyword queries, quick media upload triggers, user notification controls, and profile management options.

2. Sidebar Navigation
Serves as the persistent primary navigation drawer. It allows users to switch seamlessly between major platform destinations, including main Photos, Explore discovery categories, shared media libraries, custom Albums, and archived collections.

3. Masonry Media Grid
Forms the central content display area. Built as a fluid CSS Grid container, it uses auto-fitting card mechanics to arrange photo thumbnails in an auto-adjusting, space-efficient grid that scales smoothly across different screen resolutions.

4. Hover Micro-Overlay
Provides contextual actions directly over media thumbnails on hover. It renders translucent visual controls, quick selection checkboxes, favorite indicators, and essential file metadata without cluttering the primary viewing experience.

5. Lightbox Framework
Operates as the full-viewport focus overlay when a specific photo or video is selected. It darkens the background and creates a distraction-free area to display high-resolution previews alongside detailed information and editing tools.
