This project is a simple command line calculator developed using Python. It allows the user to enter mathematical calculations through the keyboard and performs basic arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. The program uses functions to organize the calculation process and global variables to maintain the current calculation and previous result. It also supports continuous calculations by using the previous result as the starting value for the next operation. For example, after calculating 10+5, the user can enter another operation such as *2 and the program continues the calculation using the previous result. The program includes a cls command that clears the previous calculation and starts a new task. Conditional statements are used to identify the mathematical operator entered by the user, while string splitting is used to separate the numbers before performing the calculation. The program repeatedly accepts new calculations through function calls, creating a continuous calculator experience in the command line. This project demonstrates practical knowledge of Python functions, global variables, user input, conditional statements, string operations, type conversion, arithmetic operators, and recursive function calls.
